Terms
Plain-language terms for website work with Skip Digital SA. A written quote always comes first.
Who we are
Skip Digital SA builds websites for local businesses, mainly in Pretoria and Centurion. Contact: skipdigitalsa@gmail.com or 082 068 9422.
Quotes and prices
The prices on our website are the standard once-off amounts. You get a written quote before any work starts. That quote is the price you pay. We do not add VAT on top of the prices shown.
Startup quotes already issued stay as quoted (for example 6 pages at R4,500 and 10 pages at R6,500). New standard work uses the prices on the public site.
Paying
- 50% deposit to start, 50% when the website is finished and you are happy to go live.
- Pay only after you have a written quote from skipdigitalsa@gmail.com.
- Payments go through our Yoco page: pay.yoco.com/SkipDigitalSA. Type the amount on your quote.
- The deposit books the build. If you cancel after we have started, the deposit covers work already done.
What you send us
You supply the text, photos, logo and contact details unless you have asked us to write the words (R300 a page). We cannot finish the site until we have what we need. Timing in the quote starts once those materials arrive.
Changes
Each new-site package includes one round of changes before launch. Extra rounds, extra pages and bigger redesigns are quoted first.
Hosting and care
- Hosting is R150 a month. The first month is included with every new site.
- The care plan is optional at R499 a month, on top of hosting. It covers updates you send us (new text and photos). New pages are quoted first.
- Both are month to month. Cancel with one month's notice by email.
- If hosting is unpaid, the site may go offline until payment is received.
Fix-ups
A website fix-up starts from R1,450. We look at your current site first and confirm a fixed price in writing. If a fix is not worth your money, we will say so and quote a new site instead.
When the site is yours
After the final 50% is paid, the website files are yours. If we registered a domain for you, it is registered in your name. You can take the site elsewhere later; we will hand over files on request.
What we do not promise
We set sites up so Google can read them. We do not promise a ranking, a number of enquiries, or a position on the first page of Google.
Privacy
How we use quote-form details is explained in our privacy notice.
